Prayer for Wednesday

The best way to pay for a lovely moment is to enjoy it.
~ Richard Bach

Thank you God for giving me another day, another chance to become a better individual, another chance to give and experience love. Thank you God for giving me health, for the food you provide, for the awareness you have awaken in me.
Thank you for the energy that feeds my soul, the sun that warms our bodies and the air that fills our lungs.
Because of you I believe in the good without the bad and the ugly, because of you I am learning to love and accept myself, because of you I believe in believing. My source, stay connected to me today and always, for I need you in order to fullfil my spiritual tasks.
God, show me how to love myself, to be able to love others. Help me become the type of person that I would like to befriend, help me forgive myself and forgive others.
God, make me a channel of your energy and help me understand. I thank you God for giving me another day, another unused opportunity to do it right. Keep us all close to you and listen to our prayers. Amen.

Prayer for Saturday

Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.
~ Leonardo da Vinci

To be human being is an honor,
and we offer thanksgiving for all the gifts of life.
Mother Earth, we thank you for giving us everything we need.

Thank you, deep blue waters around Mother Earth,
for you are the force that takes thirst away from all living things.
We give thanks to green grasses that feel so good against our bare feet,
for the cool beauty you bring to Mother Earth’s floor.

Thank you, good foods from Mother Earth,
our life sustainers, for making us happy when we are hungry.
Fruits and berries, we thank you for your color and sweetness.
We are all thankful to good medicine herbs, for healing us when we are sick…

All the trees in the world, we are thankful for the shade and warmth you give us…

We give thanks to you, gentle Four Winds,
for bringing clean air for us to breathe from four directions.

Thank you Grandfather Thunder Beings for bringing rains to help all living things grow.

Elder Brother Sun, we send thanks for shining your light and warming Mother Earth…

Spirit Protectors of our past and present,
we thank you for showing us ways to live in peace and harmony with one another.

And most of all, thank you, Great Spirit, for giving us all these wonderful gifts…

Prayer for Wednesday (Beltane/Samhain)

Today is the Pagan/Wiccan holidays of Beltane (No. Hemisphere) and Samhain (So. Hemisphere.) The five day Zoroastrian festival of Ghambar Maidyozarem and the Mayan Rain Festival continue today.

If we can get to the place where we show up as our genuine selves
and let each other see who we really are,
the awe-inspiring ripple effect will change the world.
~ Terrie M. Williams

Bless, O threefold true and bountiful,
Myself, my spouse, my children.
Bless everything within my dwelling and in my possession,
Bless the kine and crops, the flocks and corn,
From Samhain Eve to Beltane Eve,
With goodly progress and gentle blessing,
From sea to sea, and every river mouth,
From wave to wave, and base of waterfall.

Be the Maiden, Mother, and Crone,
Taking possession of all to me belonging.
Be the Horned God, the Wild Spirit of the Forest,
Protecting me in truth and honor.
Satisfy my soul and shield my loved ones,
Blessing every thing and every one,
All my land and my surroundings.
Great gods who create and bring life to all, I ask for your blessings on this day of fire.

Spirit of the Universe,
who is everywhere and in everything,
I give thanks for all the opportunities I have received.
Help me to remove the clouds from my sight
that I might see them more clearly when they appear.
Thank you for all the people who have been, are now,
and will be a part of my life.
Help me to serve them with the love, joy and peace
that you have given me.
For You are the All-Knowing, All-Loving, All-Merciful.
And so it is.

Prayer for Tuesday

God, first among all spirits,

Supreme Being who feels something for us.
You, possessor of all, who have inner peace,
Who are the same outside and inside.

You are the one who created all crops.
You gave them to us for use during our stay on earth among our fellow humans.

Be also our Creator, give us wisdom and strength so that we may grow
and always be sincere and true.

And you, God, master of everything
Grant us your help to live for others so that we may live for you.

Prayer for Monday

Dear Lord,
Today I ask of nothing & yet I have many things to say…
I want to say Thank You for everything in my life.
Thank You for the health & happiness of myself, my family & friends.
Thank You for everything from the blue skies to the deep waters.
Thank You for all living animals both great & small.
Thank You for all seasons,
all weather & every minute of every day you have blessed my with.
Thank You for the fingerprints on the walls
that will someday fade away as my children grow.

Dear Lord,
I could never Thank You for all,
just know how truly blessed I really am by your grace because I already know.

Thank You.
