Prayer for Sunday (Nativity of the Theotokos)

Today is the Orthodox Christian celebration of the Nativity of the Theotokos, which is the Feast of the Birth of the Virgin Mary in Western Christian traditions.

If you have a mom,
there is nowhere you are likely to go
where a prayer has not already been.
~ Robert Brault

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

(traditional Catholic prayer)
