Prayer for Monday (Sukkot)

Today is the first full day of the Jewish holiday of Sukkot.

Meditation brings wisdom;
lack of mediation leaves ignorance.
Know well what leads you forward and what hold you back,
and choose the path that leads to wisdom.
~ Buddha

By the strength of my pure motivation,
Coupled with the power of the Realized Ones,
And the mystic force of the Dharmadhatu,
May all the aims that we have in mind,
That accord with the laws of Truth
Occur without obstruction.

(Nāgārjuna, founder of the Madhyamaka school of Mahāyāna Buddhism)
