Prayer for Saturday

Having risen from sleep, I hasten to Thee, O Master, Lover of mankind, and by Thy loving-kindness, I strive to do Thy work, and I pray to Thee: Help me at all times, in everything, and deliver me from every worldly, evil thing and every impulse of the devil, and save me and lead me into Thine eternal kingdom. For Thou art my Creator, and the Giver and Provider of everything good, and in Thee is all my hope, and unto Thee do I send up glory, now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.

Prayer for Friday

God, hear my prayer,
And let my cry come to You.
Do not hide from me in the day of my distress
Turn to me and speedily answer my prayer.
Eternal God, Source of healing,
Out of my distress I call upon You.
Help me sense Your presence
At this difficult time.
Grant me patience when the hours are heavy;
In hurt or disappointment give me courage.
Keep me trustful in Your love.
Give me strength for today, and hope for tomorrow.
To your loving hands I commit my spirit
When asleep and when awake. You are with me; I shall not fear.

Prayer for Thursday

Father,
you know our hearts and share our sorrows.
We are hurt by our parting from those whom we loved:
when we are angry at the loss we have sustained,
when we long for words of comfort,
yet find them hard to hear,
turn our grief to truer living,
our affliction to firmer hope
in Jesus Christ our Lord.

Amen.

Man Mein Ram Basale

Very simple and pleasing to heart , Love Lord Ram.
Leave out this worldly pleasures as its all false,
Start the eternal flame of Lord Ram and see your fate change for better.

Prayer for Tuesday

Lord Jesus Christ
who reached across the ethnic boundaries
of Samaritan, Roman and Jew,
who offered fresh sight to the blind and freedom to captives,
help us to break down the barriers in our community,
enable us to see the reality of racism and bigotry,
and free us to challenge and uproot it
from ourselves, our society and our world.
Amen.

Prayer for Monday (Khordad Sal)

We praise Sraosha1, the Holy, the beautiful, the victorious, bringer of prosperity to the world, the Righteous One, the Lord of Righteousness. Ahunavar protects the body.

(from the Shrosh Bãz in the Khordeh Avesta,
the prayer book of Zoroatrians)

Ahuna Vairya (also known as Ahunavar)
Whereas he shall be chosen by the world, so, according to Truth,
the judgement of deeds done by the world in Good Faith is yielded to Mazdā2,
and the Power of the Ahura3 whom they shall assign as pastor to the poor.

(most sacred of the hymns of Zoroastrianism)

1 Sroasha is a minor deity in the Zoroastrian pantheon, frequently called “Voice of Conscience”
2 Mazdā is the primary Ahura (see next footnote) in the Zoroastrian pantheon

Prayer for Sunday (Feast of the Annunciation)

God of merciful love,
Help these families who are victims of murder
To accept the reality of such senseless acts of violence
Without, at the same time,
Succumbing to the despair of so great a loss.
May this violence become for them, instead,
A stepping-stone toward greater union with you.

Teach them the forgiveness that was exemplified
By Jesus as he said,
“Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.”
And through his redemptive love,
Show your mercy to the perpetrators of these crimes.

Fill the emptiness of their victim hearts
With the fire of your divine love
So as to transform their losses
Into a healing power
For themselves and for our world.
Amen.
